A Slipcover Peekaboo

I am slipcovering Jackie's furniture and at my wits end with Emmers, our golden retriever....She is a handful these last few days...She is even picking on her sister...Poor Bella...See what I mean? Yesterday, I spent 30 minutes running a muck, trying to catch that little stinker down the street...:)
I looked real cute, I am sure...:) lol

I wanted to give you a peek at my slipcover I am working on...I am so pleased with the fit...I am farther along than this...I want to tease Jackie, who I know is stalking my blog for a peek...probably as we speak...Get to packing, Jackie!...I have it covered over here...:) Jackie is in the middle of a move and knee deep in boxes...while I am knee deep in fabric and dog fights...:)

so, what do you think? I will show you more soon...

For those of you that have not entered my giveaway, scroll down and enter ...Screaming Meme's orders ;)

Oh, how I want to learn to slipcover! How did you learn. This looks just perfect! Is it a white slipcover. I would love to cover my 18century settees with a soft taupe linen-like (but not wrinkley) fabric and then have a huge monogram in the same color place in the middle of the cusion back.
You have done a wonderful job!

My house is full of pets! When my son came back home he brought Smokey and Stella. We already have Bandit and Tinkerbell and two cats Boots and Rose. They rally round Tink as she has liver disease.

Those slip covers look divine!Jackie sounds so excited! You are certainly talented!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting me. I am following you and off to check out your giveaway!

Hello I've missed my visits, but look forward to catching up.
So, I poured myself a cup of tea and read a spell.
Slipcovers can freshen up any piece of furniture. What a crisp spring look. However "sewing" is beyond my glue gun capability, lol.

As spring approaches I like to apply it's inspirational palette of colors into a few DIY projects, decorations and gifts.
Don't you love the aroma that fills the air during this season?
It's definitely invigorating.
Sweet wishes,
Sara

Hey girlie! You are so blessed to live close to Round Top. I think if I lived in Texas I would have my schedule book for all of their shows. I'm not sure if I will be going to the Fall show this year. My feet are still too sore to give an answer now...ha! Your slipcover looks awesome!
