Decorating With Plates

Plates are a great and inexpensive way to add color and a little fun to any wall! Here are some great ideas for you to drool all over...;)

I love the idea of using plates as frames...:) Photo copy a photo in black and white {or color} and use double sided tape...adhere to plate...Instant framed art! Love it!

I love the way they took platters and hung them sideways...And going around the ceiling as a border is a fun way to show off your plates and platters!







Have doily plates? Hang them with ribbon or jute rope...:)

I think adding plates to a bedroom is such a romantic idea...This headboard idea is gorgeous! Add any pattern over a bed or around the room! Romance is in the air...eat it up! ;)

Isn't this a cute idea to add to your front door? I love it! Add a piece of paper like wallpaper or scrapbook paper and add your house # to it! If you use scrapbook paper...polyurethane it!

Brought to you by one of my FAVORITE decorating products...Dischangers....I first used this product a few years ago, on a client's antique dish collection...I used them, because they will not damage the plates the way a plate hanger can...Have you tried getting those things on your plates? I'm currently working on turning a bunch of plates into chalkboards which I will hang on a wall in our kitchen.
I'm always on the look out for cute plates because I would love to add them to a collection of "found" wall art.

Crazzzzy for plates. I have them EVERYWHERE........ My Mum used to have them over her bathtub! So darn cute. My favorite picture is the little stove with the random plates over it. Charming.
